After having our house appraised and then after having a look on trade-me at prices for a 2 bedroom brick and tile flat, it seems like it could be a very good option for us. We could probably buy the flat freehold if we could get the amount for our current house that they have appraised. This would mean that any rent we get from it will be profit, minus tax and rates. We would probably come out with about $148 per week in our hand. This converts to about Rs. 5041 per week,Rs 20,962 per month which goes a long way in India. This equates to about Rs. 262,115 per year passive income to help us out financially. Our God is a God who provides!!!
We are not at the selling stage yet but it's good to have the thinking caps on.
My parents have said we can park our caravan up their drive if we need to live somewhere before we go. It would probably be nice to spend some time with them but being a portable home we could also give them a break from time to time and go park by a beach. This would be Davids dream come true. He has always loved the idea of living in a mobile home.
In order to close a deal, there are some plan that should be written down. Part of the strategy should include hiring a skilled realtor, creating a strategic plan, fair pricing and great presentation of the house.
